ben pez
Wondering if someone can kindly post up some advice please. Ive got a couple of old lima class 37s that i want to detail and make a lot more realistic. Like change the front windows, shall i use the shawplan kit? Really wondering how to lower the bodyshell onto the chassis so it looks better, ive read people have done this mod, just not sure how. Obviously i know they will never be as good as a Bachmann or vitrains model, just wanted to try and get them a bit better looking. Many thanks Ben
andrewribs
Hi Ben The biggest improvement you can make is to lower it, not a difficult task, you just need some basic modelling skills and a bit of plastic L girder. I'll post some pictures of the task if you're interested. Since this picture was taken I've fitted a craftsman windscreen . Andrew
