mason
It's been a busy day today on the layout with the hardstanding and track weathering going on The hardstanding sections were superbly cut by Justin at Model Railway Scenery http://www.modelrailwayscenery.com/ and will be soon offered as a kit, this is pretty much a trial version with two layers being cut in 2mm mdf panels to make up to the rail height and sleeper height. They fit perfectly and Justin did a great job. Justin also printed concrete over sheets too. I'm really pleased with how it is shaping up so far

RBE
Yes I need to crack on now. Its not as fast to build a real place as you have to build replicas of real structures and do loads of research but I'm getting there now. Just made a start on the station waiting rooms and planning to get the station car park over the tracks done today. Looking forward to seeing yours at Mansfield too!
mason
A couple of pics sent from james styles of the buildings that he is doing for the layout. So pleased with how they look and can't wait to get them fixed in place
mason
Lots of work on the layout yesterday The buildings have been placed but still needs signs and doors etc Huge thanks to james styles for these as they are awesome We also fitted yard lights from layouts4u and added the ballast and some greenery along the road at the front of the layout Everything seemed to flow yesterday and I guess that's the advantage of doing it full time.
