That 08 looks familiar! I see you got hold of some of the correct oval buffers for it. Looks good.

A bit more work done this week with the signage and doors fitted to the depot building and a few workers have been caught .... working??

Also the old works shunter has finally retired and dumped out the back siding to rot.

Replacement 08 gronk being its replacement.

Not much done on the layout this weekend

this week should see the kadee magnets fitted and a possible running session video.

James will also be in the shop this week to do the retaining walls and the middle section on the steel works.

 

We have 4 show dates confirmed for the layout and our trade stand

 

Chiltern - 14/15th Jan 2017

festival of railway modelling Doncaster - 11/12th Feb 2017

Mansfield - 5/6th March 2017

Kings Lynn - date to be announced

Excellent, hopefully get to do a few shows together next year then.

The main front panels have been glossed and fitted back on the boards

So pleased with these, just some logos to be added

James has been over and fitted the middle steel works section and the retaining wall behind the fuel point

They look superb and will have the pipework etc added this week

The fiddle yard is also wired and running lovely

superb work looking ace can i ask were you got the wire coils from the upper section steel works is lookin suitably weather and care worn .

Hi I got the coils last weekend at a show, they were unbranded in a box but I believe they were meant to be for a 7mm wagon load but seemed to fit nicely

I think they work really well.

With the rear middle factory section fitted I thought i would grass and finish that section with statics and fit the coils and junk around the dumped shunter

Looks pretty well rundown

More pipes n air cons n vents to add tomorrow.
