steve fay
During January I will be starting an O gauge running club, the intention is to get an operational double track loop up and running as soon as possible. With a minimum radius of 6 foot. My layout Severn Tunnel East will be the scenic part of the layout. For now the plan is to have an operational layout that club members and visitors can run there locomotives and stock. As for most of us in O gauge this is not a possibility at home due to space constraints. Panteg house is a licensed premises so drinks will be available. The room is up a flight of stairs. More details will follow.

Simond
Steve The chances of getting there are on the remote side of improbable, but I wish you the very best with this venture! All the best Simon
two tone green
I think I can make some evenings. Will be good to be able to let my locos run at higher speeds on a loop
Focalplane
Steve A great idea, and as you say, most of us have no room to run our Gauge O trains. Unfortunately Pontypool is off my radar, the closest location for me being Porthmadog! I have been trying to find like minded Gauge O modellers in southern France with no luck, though I have found a perfect empty hut with club room potential owned by SNCF and alongside the Narbonne-Perpignan main line. But a club room with no club doesn't make much sense! Good luck with the venture!
