Oh dear, I think the EMD thread might get pretty big.  A very common builder and lots of good models around.

My EMD fleet at this time:

SW900E (1x)

SW1500 (2x)

GP9 (4x) (and one on pre-order)

SD9 (2x)

F7  (A+B) (1x)

F9 (A+B)  (1x)

E9 (1x)

GP15-1 (2x)

GP30 (1x)

GP35 (2x)

GP38-2 (2x)

GP40 (3x)

SD40R (2x)

SD40T-2 (2x)

All but one of the SD9's and both GP15-1 are Southern Pacific / Cotton Belt, and the F9 (A+B) is BN.

The O scale version of 'Cannonising' .......... Atlasising in this case. A soon to be N&W High Hood SD45 (they had a single low hood, rebuilt after a smash). Still to sort out the correct high/low brake cylinder trucks and the pilots ......................

I've posted this in another thread but I decided to post it here as well to make sure you EMD fans don't miss it. I've always liked my GP38s. Don't worry about me - I'll start taking my pills again tomorrow!

Three more EMDs out in the garden. If you think this is an odd mix let me explain. The Quinton Line I saw a short line somewhere in the USA. It gets by running freight and it’s income is supplemented by tourist trains. Here we see the luxury tourist passenger train being held while the recently restored to Rock Island livery GP40 hauls a log train through. The SD70 awaiting its next turn of duty is on loan from the UP who have lots of these in store at the moment and are only too happy to lease a few out. So, all perfectly believable!post-12189-0-83538400-1527594636_thumb.jpeg

I just realised I've not posted this here...

Atlas O scale GP35. High hood, Alco trucks.  :locomotive:  :locomotive:  :locomotive:

Going back over my previous contributions to this thread, you can see below that I also built that elusive O scale layout too! :P

Hi,

My Kato N scale SD70ACe arrived on Friday but once again had to await better daylight to get passable snappery...

There is a full description and a 'view larger' graphic of the various livery elements here:

My EMDs have to earn their corn.

My line is a tourist line set in the present day and the locos have been painted in heritage liveries. Well thats my excuse anyway!

These locos are dc and run off track power. Snow doesn't cause a problem but if the air temperature is below about 1 degree centigrade ice immediately forms on the cleared rails making running impossible.
