Pine Lake Railway Club, Derby

Tickplan

Recommended Posts

The Pine Lake Railway Club is a small group of modellers building an 00 layout in a large (36 feet by 10 feet) static residential caravan in a wonderful rural location to the south of Derby. We welcome any like-minded enthusiasts to come along and join in the building or operating of the railway. Currently we have the baseboards, track and wiring done for one long side of the caravan. Here we have a scale length model of Quorn station on the GCR. Track has also been laid on the two shorter ends (including over a viaduct running across the bay end of the van) and we hope to have the rest of the four track main line done to allow for continuous running by the end of the year.

If you live in the Derby or Burton area and want to join us - or just want to come along and see what we have been up to then please send me a PM and I can tell you more.

We meet every second Tuesday evening, mainly for chat and planning and then again every alternative Friday morning where the actual building work tends to get done. Free tea and biscuits!
