Hi Andy so sorry about your ingress of water. I think the best thing to do is hire an air blower and get some air circulation around the affected area. Many would tell you to get a dehumidifier but I would advise against that as on wood they can do more harm than good. The wood hasn't been wet for long so air flow will do the job. Don't use to much heat either a natural dry will be best. Let me know how you get on

Hi Martin, Thanks mate. I had the heater on for most of yesterday but with the door just open a little. Today the door has been open most of the day and it's looking good. Tomorrow I'm out all day so although the door will be closed and no heat on, air will be circulating.

That sounds good. Have you got a fan heater that you can run without any heat that will help a great deal with air flow ,,,,

No, it's in the Loft and I'm not routing around up there tonight, besides the Ladder is down the Garden and WET, hahha.

It's now gone back into it's Box and hiding in case I weather it tomorrow with some other jobs.

 

No it wont get weathered until out Open Weekend in December.
