I’ve sold all my Heljan bodies bar the refurbished 31, managed to pick the 26/27 and 25 through trades, the 37 and 47 I picked up locally. Have another two 47 chassis I picked up locally that I will model as something different to the norm Shane did a brilliant job on the 33, far better than I could have ever done James

It looks great but nigh on complete? Hi the mods so far are adding 0.3mm micro strip to represent roof joins, one side window half plated, mmp horns added. Nrms sprung buffers, Heljan air pipes, jltrt eth castings and a cut down phd high intensity. ive done the roof pipes as per the real coach. Also for a easybuild coach I’ve glued the front and sides to the roof not the chassis as it makes life a lot easier. Hope that helps 1

PannierTanker14
It’s interesting to see the change from a simple Lima 33 to a superbly detailed Lima 33. That is quite brilliant. (I’m trying to find one myself but I’ve only found a wrecked 4F so far) Edited September 15, 2019 by PannierTanker14

P.C.M
Hi James, Some top notch diesels on this thread, your latest pics of 20117 reminded me of a trip up Barnetby way when the 20s were on borrowed time. I like your bufferbeam replacements for the class 37s can I ask where you get them from looks like a complete unit with buffers. I have a pete Harvey etch but yours look easier. Also just noticed your last pic of the Split box class 37 looks like you have the horn grills on sideways. This could of course be correct for this loco as they did appear with them like that sometimes but they are normally the other way. Cheers Peter.

Hi peter my split box 37’s have phd bufferbeams with nrms buffers but I do use the ones specified for a 31 as I think they are more appropriate. gkad you mentioned the horn grills as your quite correct I’d fitted them incorrectly, will have to redo these. Better now before paint!

SALTY
Black added and I’m pretty happy with the results, triple grey is a complicated livery to apply on a 37 withsll the black grills. 6
