Thats a good idea using  a spare bufferbeam, I might have a go myself if I get another 37.

Just finished bufferbeam off, has come out well. Will definitely use this approach in the future.

Also had a try with some tdm cables on the 47.

You would definitely improve the 47 with much finer wire

I totally agree, this was more to see if the tdm etches were in scale. Finer wire will be used. Also a better quality high intensity needed.

Hi,

Looking good! What do you plan to do about the perennial - Heljan - problem with the Serck radiator grills?

Are the Cl37 grills and marker light surrounds from the MMP Mainline Diesel detailing kit? I have those to do too.

Thanks for that, I think in some countries including mine(Cyprus) it is also known as denatured alcohol . I’ll give it a try. I have used Dettol but the smell lingers on plastic for weeks.

Bob

Hi Bob,

You in a Tiger Moth? Nice!

Good point about the Dettol, I hate the small almost as much as other paint removal chemicals and it lingers!

Kind regards to all,

Well more projects in the go, a couple of trades landed me with a 25/3 and a 33, so time to use my spare 26 shell and make something interesting.

Remember the 33 that started this topic? I bought if from James and gave it a bit of a rework! Still got work to do.

Amazing! A full cut and shut! Any photos of the modified roof and other areas? They look seamless.
