I haven't bought one of these yet - waiting for Scotrail swoosh. Might be tempted by the Strathclyde maroon/cream as there's evidence of one on the West Highland line.

Central Trains please Charlie!

Has to be express (with CT branding? Kill two birds...!), I will buy one provided the marker lights are tooled as discussed in other thread recently

PPS After the NEC Birmingham we expect all Provincial to be sold out, thats 1500 gone in 3.5 years.

 

The East Midland trains are long gone as are the Saltire Livery.  Then the last few Scotrail Barbie left.

 

BUT the next run will be up to date Saltire and possibly a limited numbered run of the Kilmarnock Edition (Blook & Custard' One. !!!

 

Not decided yet on Central Trains OR Express livery.  WHAT DO YOU THINK ???

 

 

 

 

Sounds great. Would love a FTW-MAL set or something of that ilk.

A friend of mine got a class 156 recently on eBay. Apart from the two coaches going opposite directions which he has since fixed, he can’t get the tail lights to work at either end. He is getting both ends showing white lights, no matter what direction it is going. I think he said the day/night settings are back to front or somesuch. 
any ideas why he can’t get any tail lights showing on both coaches?

I think I had to program my 156 decoders so the head and tail lamps were opposite way round for one car. As in I expect your mates situation is that one end works absolutely fine, the other is the wrong way round? Just needs one decoder reprogramming to use the tail function instead of headlights and vice versa.
