I would want to buy two branded and two unbranded Northern versions so it would be nice to offer two different running numbered sets per livery as per the ScotRail 156s. Though it must have happened, i dont remember seeing a GMPTE and Skipper together, though i saw / photographed a pair of skippers in Manchester once which looked smart as a 4 car (and felt tthat was unusual to see). Provincial 142049, with its nod towards that Canadian adventure ;-) and a GMPTE 142 is my favourite, i’ll be doing it at 002 anyway, for some reason it seemed to live on Manchester Blackburns and I acquired quite a lot of pictures of it. I can understand why Charlie would switch to original condition, rather than something more bespoke.
