davep101
Hiya all, I started a post sometime ago with an idea to build a Czech layout, well this idea morphed into Zlata Vychod, a fictitious station based in the Czech Republic next to the German border. The pictures are from the layouts 1st outing to RmWebs own Andyrams Weston on Trent show.
davep101
Whilst modelling Czech locos and stock I was advised that Atlas Editions had made some static models for the German market, with this in mind I set to fitting a roco 218 chassis inside a CD class 230. With new pans fitted (from BEC) and a few other detailing bits it's made quite a reasonable model of a 230. I then set about my second conversion this time using a Mehamo class 215 chassis adapted in a similar way. I have some spare etched number plates so this one become 240-011 which is a CD Cargo example I also took the plunge with my new airbrush to weather this one. davep101
Hiya all, Zlata is loosely based on the north west corner of the Czech Republic it's a totally fictious station and location. There's a little bit of modules licence involved in the amount of PKP stuff that appears. Regards Dave p
