shandres
Apologies for the lack of updates, but we are working very hard behind the scenes. Eastgate station now has an island platform! Once other works have completed, the backscene will be built (currently in progress), allowing for the station building to come into place. The following pictures were taken on the 22nd June at Twickenham Library:The information board for events, including maps and our 'Eastgate Folk' cartoons created by our group leader! 2 Class 153s await their next passenger duties at the station whilst 68008 stands in the sidings. All 3 models are mine. A general overview of the station board with DMUs working local services. All photos are my own. Thank you for reading!
shandres
The open day was a success! Some pictures... Another general view of the station area. Class 90 fest! My weathered Hornby one is in the foreground, with SprinterMan30's 2 Bachmann Class 90s in the background. Class 37s and 67s ruled the 'Spinner' loco hauled services, both as DMU replacements and as football extras. Finally, a 2 car Pendolino! This is why SprinterMan30 should not be in charge of rolling stock... Thank you to all those who attended. It was a lovely day.

shandres
Apologies for the lack of recent updates, but lockdown means I finally have time to share pics of the latest happenings on the layout, prior to the temporary closure of the club a few weeks ago. The lift tower mockup in place alongside the footbridge that will lead to the station facilities. The mockup of the platform building and canopy as well as the staircase. My GWR 153 was used for scale purposes. Keep well with all that is happening.

Please come down to our OPEN DAY on July 29th (10am to 4pm) and meet the team KDERSWELL HALL, Wills Cres, HOUNSLOW, TW3 2JF Email : chairman.tdmrc@gmail.com Tel : 01932 783253 www.tdmrc.org.uk
