Hi folks,

My model of the MENTOR (975091) in its near current state (apart from the new digital railway decals) is nearing completion.

As always, with phone pictures, here is a cruel close up of what I've managed to achieve.

Comments welcome as always.

James

I bet it was, I'll get some more photographs for you when I can.

The donor was two MK1 BSKs, I used a MK2 window for the smaller one. Having two donor coaches allowed me to cut and shut parts. It also left spares incase I made a backside of it!

I still have a few details to add to it over the next while.

Cheers

James

Nice work James.

It's still on my to-do list, along with a NMT, three RTOV (DBSO), at least two UTU, and two DVTs..... and maybe another PLPR

Cheers,

Mick

Cheers Mick,

It is my first full start-to-finish conversion, I haven't got the confidence to hack apart a Bachmann just yet! I want to get started with a DBSO model soon I hope, got two spare Airfix BSO's sitting!
