Persephone
Apart from Stamford East, I cant say I have come across any of those layouts before, I presume then that this isn't the old Rochdale show which used to have an excellent selection of top quality and well known layouts which made it a must see show? flapland
I certainly remember going to the Rochdale Show as child. Late 70s/early 80s I suspect. Could be up that time of year and if so will pop in partly just to remind me what a lovely building Rochdale Town Hall is.

Some of the layouts are new to the circuit and are good quality layouts. Or exhibition manager is very good at picking layouts.
Sam Kennion
Can you give any more info on the 'Bealeys Bleach Works' layout please? Perhaps a photo. Just wondering if its worth travelling over as I'd only be able to spend part of Sunday afternoon at the show and I normally like to spend most of the day at a show to get the best out of it. Thanks, Sam.

mark axlecounter
Sam 'Bealeys Bleach Works' is a new layout owned by Graham Bentley (an old member who moved away ). We don't have any pics or information on it only that its new and its 016.5 gauge 7mm. What I can say is that he was and still is a good modeller and the stuff he made was very well detailed. I'm sorry I cant get any more information other than what I have said. Hope this helps Mark towers
Sam Kennion
Thanks Mark. Sounds good if it is up to the same standard as Eastbrook which I think was also by him: http://www.ngrail.co.uk/2_east.htm Sam.
