Good morning everyone,

Well here are the last two videos!  Good viewing and see you soon on L.V.T.V.! :biggrin_mini:

I am pleased that the channel has well over 2,000 subscribers.

I don’t come to the forum often enough and I’m sorry. :(

Nice video as usual. One suggestion for you to consider, you appear to run your passenger rake of 3 coaches as a fixed formation? If so then I think you would improve the rakes appearance by swapping the tension lock couplings on the middle coach and the two end coaches that connect to the middle coach with the Bachmann pipe connection instead. This would reduce the gap between the coaches without affecting your ability to use tension locks because you would keep these on the ends of the rake that connect to the loco.

Do you think that will make it more realistic?

Yes, for two reasons. Firstly the coaches will be closer coupled reducing the gap between them which I hate seeing. Secondly the Bachmann pipe creates a fixed distance between the coaches just like on the real railway where the buck eye couplings do exactly the same thing which prevents the coaches from moving within the rake.

Try it for yourself and see what you think. It is easy to change the couplings and equally easy to change them back if you do not like the effect. All of my 4 coach rakes are the Bachmann pipe between the coaches and I think it makes a big difference.  My video is not produced to the same standard as yours but I think it supports what I am saying.

Hello, I hope you’re okay. I’m presenting my last two videos.

I hope they will entertain you in this difficult time we are going through. Personally, your wonderful country and its beautiful railway allow me to escape. :)

Hello all,

My layout was featured in a report on a French YouTube channel: "Aiguillage". I put the link here. The video is in French, it is very popular with French-modellers. Many French modellers discover the British trains and 00 gauge with this video. I am very happy about it.
Good video. :)
