Module00
Good evening to all friends, Here are some news of the layout and its last (and not the least) module, "the Highland Loop". The work is progressing more slowly than usual, but it is a much larger module that would even be the fixed part of the layout. The siding track should lead to a distillery, the first malt wagons are already running (see one of the photos), but the idea of a small dead-end country station served only by Dmus is either interesting or a very convenient multi-purpose overflow track for parking wagons. I’ve received some new locomotives, including this one that’s visible in the photos, class 37427 in the Scotrail livery. Have a good evening and see you soon. 8
Module00
Hello friends ! Work on the last extension of the layout work is progressing well. I am waiting for the arrival of some models to perfectly define the positioning of the last buildings to be placed. The central part presenting the locomotive depot and the technical area behind the refinery and the merchant port (in the background) and practically completed. Have a good week-end !

Module00
Hello, Maybe you can help me? Is there a term for a locomotive operating alone without wagon or train ? In French, the term is "marche Haut-le-Pied" or "en marche HLP". Thank you very much.

Waverley West
Hi Alain A Very Happy New Year to you. You have been busy! I really like the latest module, especially the lighthouse (shown in your video). It's not often you see one of those on a layout! I couldn't quite be sure from the video, is the track layout on this module basically a loop which sends trains back where they came from? Regards Dave
Module00
hello all, Here is a video that presents the work done and those still to come on the last part of my layout. This large module, called the Highland Loop, is the last. Once it is ended, my layout project - From Glasgow to the Sea - will be completed. https://youtu.be/aCkSbl0e4uE have a good afternoon. I am even happier because I appreciate very much your work and your layout. Edited February 10, 2020 by Module00
Module00
Hi all, I took advantage of the February vacation (after a few days in the snow) to put a boost and work hard on the layout. In short, I have had busy days, but I am rather satisfied with the result. Finally, I opted in the center for a commercial activity area that offers many possibilities and wilder landscapes on the outskirts of the loop. The long dead track retains a universal role in order to park many different types of wagons. Have a good sunday.
Module00
I hope you and your family were okay. All right, let’s get back to our usual routine with videos! the work on the layout is finished (finally as we say it is never really finished...), it is time to get distracted on L.V.T.V. in these complicated times. : D I present my open level crossing with light and sound signals. This is a Train-Tech product. https://youtu.be/KACmH421-0w Good evening all.
Waverley West
Another great video Alain. Thanks! Hope you and your family are staying safe and well in these difficult times. I've often thought that a level crossing like yours would be fun, but thought that with my layout being a "roundy-roundy", the novelty would wear off very soon every time a train went round! Yours looks great though. You have done so much to your layout in such a short period of time and it's looking great. Hope you have lots of plans to keep you interested in the future! Module00
Hello, Dave. Indeed with a circular layout, you would have soon enough sound! thank you for your message. I hope that for you too, everything is going well and that your family is doing well in this troubled time. I’m very pleased with your compliments. I’ll see you soon. 1

Module00
Hello, you guys, hello! The long-awaited video! The non-stop round trip from Crosshill Station to Crosshill station to Crosshill Station across the Highland! The close-up view in the cabin is not necessarily the most flattering, we see a lot of the faults, but it is still nice even for me, we are immersed in the heart of his little universe. Good evening to all and all my friendly and sincere thoughts in this difficult time.
Module00
Hello, I present to you my small train of grain wagons for the production of whisky, received thursday, indispensable for a Scottish layout! This is a Backmann train taken from a starting box (with central, locomotive and rails) called Whiskies Galore. I was able to find the retail cars and it was a great opportunity. Have a good day.
Waverley West
Another great video, Alain! Thanks for posting it. I have a rake of Bachmann hoppers like that which I must get round to weathering! Stay safe my friend, Dave

Waverley West
I've just enjoyed the cab ride video too now. What a fascinating little video which gives a great overview of the layout and shows just how much work you've put into it. I especially love the sequence of different cameos through the layout, from Glasgow to the Sea, as you say. Your workbench certainly looks a lot tidier than mine too! Module00
Thank you, it is true that vision in the cab ride adds to the observation of the layout. Thanks for the workbench compliments, too. Alain
