Not much to say about building this one I'm afraid.  It's a very nice kit, it goes together with the minimum of fuss and bother and it's a shame it's (to my knowledge) no longer available.  Most of the work has been painting; I could have gone to town with detailing but as I told a friend earlier this week, if I were looking to build a finescale model I'd be starting from somewhere else.

A few months after drafting this and- surprisingly- I'm still sold on the general look and concept.  But I really, really don't like that awkward curve on the right hand side.  Does anybody know of a way to draw up ellipses on SCARM?  I think now what I need to do is redraw it with the proper curves, and I always kind of see it as a pair of half-ellipses, one set inside the other and the two touching at the junction.  But I can't see a way of getting a nice large radius curve in SCARM with flexible track.
