RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted April 20, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 20, 2019 My spray booth is equally high tech; cardboard box on the patio, sits on top of the chimenea when in use. Nice day for it, and I will be putting the final coat of rattlecan acrylic on the A31 auto trailer today before glazing in, as the numbers are now on. 2 1

Popular Post KNP
Happy Easter..... though one has to say on an early morning proving run with 2534 the crew had the shook of there lives!!! So much so that they did an unplanned emergency stop, abandoned the loco and ran for the hills? For there was the Easter Bunny.....(rabbit supplied courtesy of my youngest granddaughter) Edited March 23 by KNP 8

Popular Post KNP
As it was a nice day Ken decided to go down to Encombe Town to see what was about. By luck he arrived just in time to catch small Prairie 4550 getting ready to leave with a B set for the West. Edited March 23 by KNP

RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted April 21, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 21, 2019 A word of caution about spraying and drying outside, probably preaching to the choir for most of you. The weather has been absolutely perfect for this for the last few days, but avoid windy dry days when dust will contaminate your finishes, and late summer evenings especially around harvest time as there is a lot of particulate matter flying about. A calm, clear, day just after the air has been washed by heavy rain is best. Dry weather is generally A Bad Thing in this respect.
