Pedant alert. Actually it’s the Isles of Scilly cos they get quite upset in case they are thought of as the silly isles. I go there a couple of times a year because it’s quite nice and not very silly! No trains tho. As an old sea dog (aah haar), Kev’s harbour walls look OK to me, maybe a bit new but this is the 30’s when all this stuff was new....

Well, it was new when I built it?

Every now and then I take a picture that captures the essence of what I was trying to achieve when Little Muddle was first conceived.

In my case that's mainly scenery based but then I took this and I think it just 'feels right' with hardly any scenery and no trains in sight.

Must sort out the washing lines....

You'll need to hurry up Kevin, in the Old Days, Monday was Wash Day.

And watch out for the bloomin Seagulls.:fie:

Still a stunning pic though Kevin, it's like I tried to achieve with Pencarne and the Cottages going up the hill etc.

Ended up working on the horsebox I got a while ago.

Quite a bit of adjustment needed to the under frame to get the S&W couplings fitted...

Even painted the interior cab as you can see it through the window.

Looking down the stream from the bridge.

Two things I have noticed, one the footbridge needs attention as the wood is to dark - never really see it as its at the back of the layout hiding the Perspex to backscene joint.

The other, I must come up with a name for the viaduct....

Overbrook Viaduct was the original idea but it never 'clicked'.....

It's amazing that you continue to find new views!

Is your railway room like the Tardis - "bigger on the inside"?

A small camera is the answer, to do the gate picture I removed the other gate and stood the camera in the opening....

One reason why some of my buildings are not fixed down as I can stand the camera on the base for a different angle.

Across the valley....with the early mists of the morning slowly clearing.

Peaceful, tranquil and sedate

This group of pictures didn't quite work as I had some foliage too close to the camera, or even touching in one case, so it couldn't focus on it.

But here they are anyway

'A gate'

My spaniel Tilly saw this picture and wanted to sniff the trees and put up any birds she could find. I would happily take her if you could let me know the bearings!
