Lovely foliage at bottom right, what did you use here Kevin?

Mainly cut or torn rubberised horsehair, sprayed brown and them lightly covered in grass scatter.

Ohhh well, should have looked at the timetable I suppose?

Don't wish to tell you how to suck eggs but it is really advisable that you consult the timetable if you are going to stand on the track to take photos!

Good grief man what were thinking?!  What is behind you?!!!

(As a disclaimer I should point out that I used to be an insurance lawyer.)

What a good idea Mick.

Cram all eight in the cab

1 engine driver and 3 trainees

and the same for the fireman.

Might have to shuffle around a bit and take it in turns with the shovel.......!

More tomorrow when I can finish and handle the loco normally.

Hi Kevin,

Is the Collet going to be weathered, or stay ex Works?

Suppose weathered is the best bet as I guess even in the '30s engine cleaning was not top of the priorities?

I expect the few remaining cleaners that were not passed for firing and therefore out on the road were fully occupied with the top link engines?

whatever state it ends up in I am sure it will look great!

Cheers

Paul

At the moment it is lightly weathered.

This is where pictures come in.

I plan to take some with the camera and see what they look like.

The chassis, wheels and motion gear needs a bit more attention

Through Encombe Town a mixed goods did clatter

Where's going, it doesn't matter

Onwards it goes with a puff and a wheeze

Is this picture just a tease

For if it carries on, then into the backscene with a splatter

Why is it going backwards?
