I seem to remember reading, that when they first started building cabs, rather than

just spectacle plates, it was the crews that objected the most!

It seems that they regarded it as an insult to their manliness.

And not just on the GWR.  When Keadby shed received it's first cabbed locos the crews refused to work them at first stating similar reasons!

Remind me not to make daft suggestions about daft vehicles in future...

Though we do seem to have got a lot of mileage out of this one. (That's Reliant economy for you, running on Dominion Motor Spirit at just 1s4d a gallon. )

The van looks great and very realistic in grey. They always look even more toylike in red or green.

I was musing over whether the trike could do a 'wheelie' and then I realised that it was probably front wheel drive.....but it conjured up an amusing image :D

They're rear wheel drive and you can get the front wheel up, though it's not very kind to the clutch!

Something that was front wheel drive, was the BSA Scout three wheeler, which was a Morgan rival.

Someone used the wrong kind of mushrooms for the daily full English in the Small Heath canteen one day and the design department came up with a van version.

Take a look in the back and ask yourself: "Why would you make a van with a wheel in the middle of the floor?"

But they sold quite a few!

I'd like to own one, just because...
