And around the bend it does sweep

Hay up brakes have failed. I can see the headlines in the Endecombe Times " Horrific train crash in Little Muddle. An express train failed to stop at the station leaving the waiting passengers befuddled and confused. According to eyewitnesses the train was going at least 3 mph. Well above the posted speed limit".

There more tension in this saga than East Enders. Not that I watch it.

Perhaps, but at least watching Little Muddle doesn't give me the urge to set fire to the television....

So quick update......

All pictures now taken

3 pictures posted.

Longest sequence to date.

Hope you are sitting comfortably, lots of popcorn and a cushion!

My 24 hour vigil is proving a challenge.  Popcorn running low.  Scared to take a nap in case I miss something.

Little Muddle was, is and continues to be my inspiration :good:

Likewise, I found it whilst looking for a photo of the goods shed at Shipston on Stour and joined RMWeb.

The memsahib saw the photos of Little Muddle and said: "Why don't you build another model railway?"

Poor young innocent, she didn't know that's a silly thing to suggest...

I don't know about you but does that driver ever look where he going or does to know the route like the back of his hand?

EDIT

After I posted this picture I must confirm to one and all that 4589 has not in fact pushed the telegraph pole over as the picture suggests!!!!!

Optical illusion

It's quite alright Kevin you didn't have to tell us about the telegraph pole being pushed over. We know full well that he isn't going fast enough to do that.:D

Work progresses slowly on The Unicorn.

Having sorted out the main roof of thatch that looks acceptable in pictures I am now sorting out the ridge.

The white top is card that forms the base for the capping thatch, chimneys and lead added.

Nearly there now and this where we are at present.

Really impressive thatch, the chimneys really set it off. Another chapter in your forthcoming modelling textbooks?

Thanks

Not sure if I'll do thatch again as it has taken a while to work out an effect I was happy with but saying that I now have a way of doing it for old thatch so the next building wouldn't need the learning curve again.

Pictures have been taken with a two pronged task, one to post on here and the other to remind me how I did it!!!!!
