It's always nice to open one of your postings as I always learn something new and not always about modelling. It could be about photography or perspective, or flying. I never ceases to amaze me your breadth of knowledge. Today is no different as you have provided me with a new term - faffing. I assume this is a technical term used in the operation of a railway. Anyway you carry on faffing as it is excellent.

I assume the singular then is faff. So for example you could faff about.

I wouldn't know about such things of course as I'm always, so I've often been told, too busy fannying about. Popular Post KNP
As the excitement mounts before the departure of the express freight train I decided to take some reference pictures of the town of Little Muddle with the all the buildings back in place to see what it looks like. I have to say it seems to be working rather well and the backscene alterations has also been worked out, well I think it has so I will do a dry run before posting. Now to get on with the tiles roof.... 23 5

RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted May 4, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 4, 2021 Yes that fits beautifully especially with the modified backscene. I think the crew of Misty are already in the pub, having found the back door. 1

w124bob
I've just come across a lovely colour photo in the Michael Welch album "Steam in the Welsh Landscape", it shows pannier 4611 taking water at Pentir Rhiw. The fireman appears to have dropped his teaspoon over the side of the cab, judging by his pose! 2
