Popular Post KNP
With the latest freight train successfully arriving at Encombe Town station I was unaware a photographer had been waiting (for a while I expect) from the local press, the Little Muddle Gazette, to catch the safe arrival of this train. So, here are their pictures to record for posterity 4589 with her friends in tow....passing by and off to who knows where!!! So concludes the exciting story of a freight train and it's adventures. And it only took 15 days and 8 pages from start to finish! Edited June 9, 2023 by KNP 31
Mulgabill
Excellent pics to end the record of this special working. But I am left wondering. With all these photographers around, waiting, and waiting, and waiting, for the Special freight fro LM, why didn't any of them record the mainline goods? Which has just passed, and can just be seen in the distance. (All questioned tongue in cheek) TONY 1 1 4

The view blocker toad no less, the story of why is there is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. Edited May 9, 2021 by KNP 1

Good job the press guy had a spare camera, to capture the Special ex LM arrive, then. (And he got an exceptional shot, even with the 2nd choice). RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted May 10, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 10, 2021 Time can travel backwards in LM as we have seen in the pub un-redevelopment so anything can unhappen.

Ah, but the signal being off is locking those points in the normal position. Quite important until the train has passed! 2

Winslow Boy
Just like yesterday then. One minute sunshine next minute pouring rain. Nice to know though that nothings changed. Got soaked as well. 1 1
