Popular Post KNP
Heading to the 'black hole' ....... The original I think you can see the problem as I forgot to use my portable backscene! So this called for some cropping, wasn't sure which one so posted both Edited November 25, 2022 by KNP 38
RMweb Premium Gedward Posted September 1, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 1, 2021 Personally, I prefer the second, as the landscape format allows for a lot more interest in the composition. Whereas the first is more track centric. 2
RMweb Premium Neal Ball Posted September 1, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 1, 2021 Number 3 for me, although I suspect a lot of people will prefer 1 as it shows the layout in the context of the room... 2 2
RMweb Premium Tim Dubya Posted September 1, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 1, 2021 (edited) It's good to see the actual depth of the layout at this point and how much is in such a space. Top stuff, cheers Edited September 1, 2021 by Tim Dubya some semblance of the English language 2 4
KNP
It also shows I need to paint the back of the track….it is on my ‘to do’ list and has been for a while….!!! Never thought I would ever get a camera in that position when I first started the layout!!! 2

Sorry, just catching up--- been away for a couple of days:- I remember one of those Elliot mainframe computers being installed, The magic gubbins needed its own "office" with a couple of guys (referred to as Electricians!) in permanent attendance, just to do the works payroll. to justify we lost 3 (female) wage-clerks. When we came to replace it about 8 years later , the information held on the memory tapes was not transferable to the replacement unit! 5 1

RMweb Gold Harlequin Posted September 2, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 2, 2021 (edited) Is it market day already? Oh yes, the first Thursday of the month. It'll be lively in the pubs in 'Muddle this afternoon! I hope that bloke selling ferrets doesn't turn up again - the Railcar smelled funny for days after last time. RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted September 2, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 2, 2021 The fields around Little Muddle have gone eerily quiet this morning, not a moo to be heard. A lovely view from the human perspective though. 3 1

Popular Post KNP
Two PO grain wagons finished. Normally take pictures of both sides to see what they look like when dry and what I have missed...? Here, two things immediately hit me, buffer fronts not done and the white ends to the brake levers. Very often the weathering is a multi stage process, all mine are done using a dry brush so I will apply some, let it dry and then come back until I get the effect I had in my minds eye. With dry brushing, little but often is the best way. Still waiting for that key I see and not sure if that is the same paper he's been reading all this while!!! RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted September 3, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 3, 2021 Thats a lovely pair of wagons, subtly weathered. If the packing case and the shed doors stumped the LM workforce I wonder how they will get on unloading these! The chap reading is gripped because he is always reading tomorrow’s newspaper! 3 2
