Popular Post KNP
I've entered a couple of pictures in the Modelu competition this one being my favourite. I have re-taken this to remove any non Modelu figures and generally spent more time with lighting, focussing and camera position. Popular Post KNP
So I picked my worse two wagons and here is their heart warming story. Cut off original rods with my plastic cutting snips, removed the original bolt detail and then scrapped smooth with these natty mini carving chisels Carefully, and I do mean carefully, cut the new ties from the fret, sand, check straight and glue in place. I used super glue. Paint and here they are waiting to dry before weathering They are slightly larger than the kit ones but much stronger so shouldn’t bend easily. Time will tell. Three more bad ones to do. 26 2 1
Popular Post KNP
For those of you interested these are my set of mini carving chisels. Used mainly for carving clay models etc but very good at scrapping plastic to give a smooth surface. Very useful in tidying up after removing top feeds from Panniers!!! These came off flea bay for less than a fiver, in my eyes there where a good investment Edited December 5, 2021 by KNP 13 15

We need to work out how to get this crate off the lorry, I'm hoping it has our Christmas decorations in it..... From this angle it looks like the shrubbery has grown onto the back of the lorry - it's been there that long! Sorry for interrupting the tie-bar modelling and potato watching storylines...
