KNP
Clue? Good you saw it. Yard lamp with the wibbly wobbly top has been removed to the workbench. The lantern top had parted company with the base supports. This has now been fixed and reinstated on the layout. Edited March 26 by KNP

RMweb Premium Neal Ball Posted September 26, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 26, 2020 Has the lamp gone? Or rather where have the lamps gone..... I think the Inspector needs to be called.... Perhaps the lamps have been requisitioned by that new warship at Southsea! The yard lamp has disappeared, but I also note that in Bradley Manor coming down the line, it has got this far with no lamps either...

Popular Post KNP
Hurray they've made it..... 7802 Bradley Manor pulls into Little Muddle station The lamp saga. The reason there is no lamp on front of the engine is that it wouldn't fit! It appears that some plonker replaced the plastic ones with brass but didn't extend the bracket out far enough so the lamp would clear the handrail knob. A new bracket has now been made and fitted with the lamp fitting correctly.... Edited March 26 by KNP 14 1
Simond
That’s the trouble with plonkers. They just won’t stick to plonking.... 2
DonB
As an inveterate Plonker I see no reason to change, Although one does get a bit fed up with getting the blame for everything that goes wrong, doesn't fit, is the wrong size, or is misshapen. As an aside I must deny all knowledge of, or responsibility for, any engine shed doors being dislodged ! My expertise was obviously not required so I wasn't there at the time, yer honour. 1 5

Can we have a "Plonker " button...……??? Perhaps not, but don't worry , DonB, there are a lot of us to each take a share of the blame, just don't take it personally?
