I'm glad you cropped the photo.  In the first version the cow looks like it is eating the roof of the shed.  I guess it could be - this little world of yours certainly has some eccentricities!

No that's just a promo for the Little Muddle Light Orchestra to perform Darius Milhaud's Le Bœuf sur le toit

Now to push back a bit to help those patient passengers to get on......

I predict they will be uncooperative and will resolutely remain on the platform.

:-)

Meanwhile wouldn't the usual GWR practice be to run back to the nearest T/T for turning so that it hauled its train cab first ? shouldn't take longer than a week :D

I do not want to appear picky - but it does detract from the photo that the tree casts a shadow on the backscene.

I am not sure what the solution is but there has to be some trick with lighting that will assist (surely).  Cropping would cut the truck in two and that would be silly.

I feel bad now - I have mentioned the cow previously and now the shadow.

My solution is to accept it as a photograph of a model built in a very small space and that there will always be things that aren't, and cannot be, perfect. Things like cows, shadows, lamps and timetables will never spoil my enjoyment of this little piece of wonderfully imagined history.
