Little Muddle is probably the best layout on the planet, it's that good I wish I lived there!

But does it have enough land rovers... ?

If it doesn't, I have a solution.

Earlier today I was out walking some distance from home when I heard a steam train, so being nosey I wandered over towards the noise and I was most surprised to see The Little Red Tractor, which I last saw heading of down the main line, being moved into a siding.

Where can it be going?

Shall I open one here?

Or would it be better somewhere else?

Excellent choice, I think, as there must be some who would not otherwise see them, and from them we may learn more about What Landy Did Next.

Latest flea bay purchase that I got for a very few notes.

Slightly damaged and needing a bit of tlc.

First front pony wheel set missing, replaced with a wheel set from an old Bachmann Manor front bogie and I also did the rear one as well so it matched.

Drive motion all over the place with nothing clipped in place, not sliding on the runners at all, the black support frame bent out of shape - with a little bit pushing and prodding and tweaking all back in place and working as per the original.

Came with a chip fitted and this seems to work fine on my Prodigy and moves around, not sweetly but moves - needs some oiling I think and a good session on the rolling road.

GWR letters have now gone (T-cut, cotton bud and a bit of scrubbing) which will be replaced with a shirt button motif.

I thinks this was a cobbled together model as the side says 5531 but the rear buffer beam was displaying 5555 so I don't think these started life together.

Front bracing missing but as you can see 0.7mm piano wire fitted.

All in all a nice looking model I acquired, needs new side number plates to match my other loco's, weathering and crew but I have another cheap working model that required this time very little effort to bring into operation.

PS - needs one hell of a clean as very dusty and evidence a previous owner must have had something slicking on there fingers when it was picked up....

Pineapple juice?
