Wolf27
They all show "3rd Party Hosting usage has been disabled" and show a 'speedo' at 100% (for me at least) - presumably some sort of limit has been reached. Seems to be related, which I don't use. Can you all see the Flickr uploads? Cheers Shane
RMweb Gold CovDriver Posted June 28, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 28, 2017 If I use google chrome all of the photo's show up okay but on microsoft edge only some of the pics are showing up hence I'm using google chrome from now on as also sometimes when I try to scroll down the page whilst using microsoft edge the page will freeze. RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted June 28, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 28, 2017 And not just yours, same at bottom of bescot beasts signature Ive had the same happen to all of my photos on another forum as well. It says Photobucket's terms of service have changed and they only allow third party sharing if you are a paid member. I now have 3 threads with hundreds of images which I need to shift to another provider!
RMweb Premium njee20 Posted June 29, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 29, 2017 Makes sense, so all paid up Photobucket members can see them. Shouldn't be browser related, certainly the same on Chrome last night and Safari this morning.

Markmiller2008
there has been progress, slow but something at leastThe Yard is now fully fitted with 3rd Rail and we hope to finish off the rest in the next couple of weeks.Untitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrUntitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrThen whilst i jet off on a couple of holidays in September Shane will take various boards back to his to work out certain areas, these being the station building and rejigging the LUL tracks.Shane has recently sprayed up the new canopies and can been see here prior to a coat of red being applied.S4510019 by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrOther work that has been taking place is the replacement of the bushes at the front of the layout with new scatter material as the old was getting a little tired.Untitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrMark
Markmiller2008
Fear not we have been making very small steps on progressing the layout works, the LUL dive under has gone as although very nice wasn’t very operationally useful. The gap has been filled with a piece of timber and the area totally ground back to the wood and new cork being laid prior to new track being land. Markmiller2008
So its been a while since any work has occurred on the layout as Shanes been moving house and I've had six weeks off work recovering from a eye operation. On Tuesday we had a layout evening, more of a catch up and natter session but we did get some work done. The filled in LUL dive under has given way to a normal section of double track which is in the process of being layed over the next week or so. Untitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrA kinked joint found in the platform area has been straightened out and ballasted fresh. Untitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrUnlike the main part of the Layout the underground section will be worked via standard analogue control and at present we are thinking about some kind of shuttle for the LUL trains. Untitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on Flickr Also gave my Hattons/Dapol NSE bubble a run. Mark
Markmiller2008
I have cpmpleted the LUL track work and Ballasting, just the third and fourth rail to fit now and make a new cable bridge.Untitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrUntitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrAnd just some standard photos.Untitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrUntitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on FlickrUntitled by SouthgatePark Exhibition Layout, on Flickr
Markmiller2008
Hi All Back to layout work, one area that we have been taking some extra time over is the far right board containing the majority of the station. So far the improved bus station area has been completed with new pavements and bus stops added, along with the must have bus in London a Routemaster. Also the station building area has been completed along with a set of shop fronts and some decorative raised beds. Mark

Markmiller2008
Hi all We've not disappeared, just been taking a hiatus for the last few months whilst I start to move house. Both of us have been very busy and the layout is pretty much all ready scenically. We do have some ideas to improve the signalling (Making it all work!) and route setting but that might not happen before the layouts first exhibition. Talking of the layouts first exhibition we have accepted a firm offer for the layout to attend the Post Modernisation Exhibition at Lincoln on the 17th/18th October. Now most of you will be wondering how we are going to do this without fiddle yards? A few months back, Tom Curtis made us a offer we simply couldn't refuse as he was looking to dispose of the fiddle yards from Northolt which he had kept at the time of him selling the scenic boards to us. So yes we now are the proud owners of the whole layout, we've not yet put the whole layout up but are hoping to very soon. That's all for now. Wolf27
Didn't realise we had not kept up to date with this thread, apologies to all our avid followers (!) However with the news that Southgate Park has been invited to its first show, see here - see a couple of posts further back, its about time we invested some time in the EMU fleet. First on the bench, as it required most work is a refurbished BEP. I've started with the hard part, the buffet coach. Untitled by Shane Wilton, on Flickr Untitled by Shane Wilton, on Flickr I'm sure it will look fine with its done! Wolf27
Also being worked on is Mark's 205 Thumper, having a third vehicle added. This is a Replica Railways 64ft suburban body on a CEP trailer chassis. Two of these to do, one for Mark and one for me. Mine is going blue and grey for a bit of variation. Markmiller2008
Time for one of my Southgate Park Project now.....also an EMU. So we all know that Hornby's 4VEP in NSE left a modellers a little disappointed. Naff Motor, Naff interior where the compartments are and a dodgy looking cab end. So i have replaced the motor bogie with one from Hornby's incarnation of the AEC railcar, swapped the wheels and bogie frames and hey presto it runs a dream now. Interior wise, i have tonight took the plunge and cut up the area concerned and grafted in a set of compartment walls from a donor interior. Cab ends watch this space as Shane has a plan for these! Thanks Mark
Wolf27
The BEP buffet coach is progressing nicely, now got as far as the first coat of primer, but first stage by stage pics of how this was created. First one shows the parts all glued together and part of a Hornby mk1 added, as I didnt have enough of the Bachmann coach. Untitled by Shane Wilton, on Flickr The filler now applied Untitled by Shane Wilton, on Flickr Partway through the sand/fill/sand/fill stage with the smaller windows now formed. Markmiller2008
Despite the knowledge the layout may not go out this year, I've Managed to start the re wire of the fiddle yard over the last couple of days. Removed the point motors and accessory switches, added a few more droppers and a bus wire and hey presto, movement on the board within 24 hours of starting it! One board down seven to go! Markmiller2008
Hello all Hope you are all keeping safe! Next month should have been Southgate Park’s first exhibition at Lincoln, obviously the pandemic has put a stop to that and we’ve been moved to next years show. Given that we have more time than first expected i have restarted work this week on the rewiring of the layout to DCC. The corner pieces are the simple bits as there’s not a lot of wiring to change however the straight pieces are a different story as being an ex DC layout means the lines are sectioned off separately, this will be changed when all the droppers will connect into the live bus wires. I’ve also decided to take up the wet and dry road surface over by the Royal Mail building as it sticks out with the other roads being smoother, I shall probably use some rolled out DAS Clay for this. Hoping to get the main boards back up in the Conservatory in the next couple of weeks to make sure all the electrics on that are good. Markmiller2008
Well today something happened that hasn’t for about an year and a half now! Three of Southgate Parks board were put back up! Unfortunately space constraints meant the forth board couldn’t be put up because of the area being 110mm to small! Never mind. Now the boards are up some checking of electrics, further scenery freshening up can take place. Areas to be attacked soon, the far left board road surface didn't match the other road so out with the sand paper and soon some DAS Clay to be rolled over for the surface (once i can find it after my house move), the next section will be the hoarding around the Station works area, need to put some thought to this area and then the plain bit of tarmac to the left of the bus station will have a greasy spoon trailer and seating area with picnic tables. We are still hoping that Lincoln show will be our debut this October, COVID permitting. Mark
