And at 5:17 it looked like this! They fancied a change for Sunday Edited December 31, 2022 by PaulRhB 15
Melangoose
I witnessed the change of formation of the layout once the show had closed, very brave as the layout looked so nice and was running so well. Hope you have a good 2nd day at the show.

RMweb Premium DLT Posted March 17, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 17, 2019 It all looked really good at Wimrail Paul, although I couldn't stay to watch for long. Cheers, Dave. 1
Melangoose
Must admit that the Freem009 formula, seems to be a big success and everyone operating the layout was enjoying themselves.

RMweb Gold Red Fox Posted March 21, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 21, 2019 Was most impressed by this layout and concept when I saw it at Wimborne at the weekend. One thing that struck me was how small the modules were in real life, they look a lot bigger in the pictures! I should have paid more attention to diagrams you posted earlier in the thread. RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted March 21, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted March 21, 2019 Thanks yes some of it is small due to the tight space it has to fit at home but the beauty of modules is it builds into something bigger when you can blag the space
Titanius Anglesmith
I've not paid much attention to narrow gauge before, but this layout has made me take notice. Simply stunning
chesterfield
What thickness are your end plates and your module surface- my guess is 12mm
RMweb Gold scottystitch Posted May 10, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 10, 2019 Yes, just lovely. A temptation for a foray into another scale I didn't need, however.......

ajs
Hi Paul Could you please tell us where the signals on your Lynmouth section came from ? I'm thinking of resurrecting my old 009 layout (Lynbridge) which was based on Lynton as something to take to local exhibitions and break from filling my shed with the RhB (Filisur, Landwasser / Zaliant and Surava). Thanks Alistair
RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted August 24, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted August 24, 2019 I’ve used the new Dapol signals, platform mounted rail built and the lattice one. 1
ajs
Hi Paul Thanks for the reply - I wasn't aware of the range until now, so that's one requirement sorted. Lynbridge was built way back when with the original Peco 9" turnouts, so I've been playing with the mainline templates over the bank holiday. Looks like it will be a "rebuild" rather like Taliesin - more like a new build on the same footprint.
RMweb Gold roundhouse Posted August 27, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 27, 2019 Paul - any news on the sound decoders? I now have LYD and awaiting LEW but hope to start building Blackmoor Gate very soon with its first show booking for November 2020. Just need to finish the fascia and guttering on the shed before diverting attention to the new layout.
