Don't you go a listening to them there kettley type blokes. What you need is a lovely Yorkshire Engine Janus.

I like steam locos, and I like diesel locos.

 

I don't like electric locos (which is perverse as that's what makes the models run).

With just over a month to go to this year's  SWAG Member's Day in Taunton, thoughts are now turning to adding some more detail to this layout.

 

By detail, I mean ballast, a facia, doors on the buildings, pathways, weathering, finishing the grass bank... just pleased there's not too much on the list.

The length of OO gauge track on this layout is less than 1ft. The visible, on scene length is less than 6".

 

Hands up who thinks the purchase of a new loco, for use on this layout, is a good idea.
