SWAG Members' Day - 2018 - Here we go again

Hi all,

Following the success of this year's event, would we like to do it all again next year ??

Actually, that's a daft question - we already have offers of 5 layouts for next year, a quality catering team in place and, by popular demand, a second outing for the Bring & Buy stand.

As usual, more details will be forthcoming, nearer the date.

If you'd like to get involved next year, please let us know. In particular, the Moduleers would like to see some new modules.

I suppose it will be around the same date? I'm off to visit son again for a couple of months in a land down under, where beer does flow and men chunder, around then.

Always assuming I keep on waking up of course.

Count me in if required, I'm assuming it will be 29th April, if you want me to secure the Hall I will get it sorted. I think Graham and I have agreed to sort catering. With no layouts to look after we should be able to take the strain off the kitchen a bit.

Put me down for another 6ft table. Not sure what I'll bring yet, but I'm sure to have a few more projects for people to look at. And it's always nice to go somewhere with good cake.

One of Mr Nevard's finest, very nice indeed.

I think personally, there are not enough superlatives to describe Chris's layouts.

He really is a master craftsman in our hobby.

Another gratuitous plug for the Warminster show, June 17. Chris Nevard's latest masterpiece, Fountain Colliery will be making its debut.

Thank you Jerry for the information on Warminster, Mrs 71H and I will try to attend this.

I think an overnight stay for us beckons in a premier inn.

I'm sure I can offer something if required?

A note of caution here........I fell for that line in the paint store at Beatties, Cardiff when working with Black Rat.......

You have been warned.......
