Loch Kimmage on the L&B

Recommended Posts

AS you may or not know i now own Isle Ornsay - Hebridean Light Railway (009) which was built by Tom Dauben

& to Keep with my L&B lettered layouts this will be renamed Loch Kimmage & Blaendulais (Seven Sisters)... (were I am moving to in July

stock will be the same as I used on Coombe Bridge also I will be rewiring it from DCC to DC

I pick up the layout Friday tea time then 1st thing Saturday I got the layout out of the Truck & onto the office floor

So after a trip to B&Q for some wood I built a framework so the layout sits above the office work tops with the track just under 5ft from the floor

so here are some photos with my stock

Loch Kimmage now has a working turntable its a Kitwood Hills models kit that he made to my size which I believe has been added to the range the track on the table is 115mm long

I have added a markits tender hand brake to use as turning mechanism if it was a real table this will also help once the track is wired up to show which way a switch need to be for track power
