RMweb Gold Scottish Modeller Posted June 6, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 6, 2017 Dear Phil, Do you still require me to make any of these for you or are you sorted now? Phil Hi Phil, The ones done by Steve were using his old process and are not possible on his new equipment without a lot of work. So - If you are happy to look into this and get back to me - Please do! Once we can see what can be done I think there will be several interested members waiting to get them. fodenway
Fox Transfers still do the former Roadscale National Coal Board transfers in 4mm scale, check their website for prices etc.
RMweb Gold Scottish Modeller Posted July 1, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 1, 2017 Fox Transfers still do the former Roadscale National Coal Board transfers in 4mm scale, check their website for prices etc. Hi there, According to Fox themselves, they have only ever done the decals for railway wagons - not road vehicles. At one time they did a private commission for a range of NCB decals but they didn't own the artwork. Thanks

RMweb Gold Scottish Modeller Posted July 26, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 26, 2017 https://www.flickr.com/photos/jfg1949/9800347575 Hi Mark, Thanks - much apprecaited. Still looks like I need to build a correct tipper body though! But, that is the correct type of Big J and that is a big help.
Arthur
The Lledo Guy is a nice casting, it really captures the look of the prototype. I converted one to a BigJ4T tractor for the Black Country Blues project. Arthur
Might also have been available under the Corgi name Bernard but mine was packaged like this; .
BernardTPM
My apologies, Arthur. Sometimes the comings and goings of these diecast model ranges does get complicated.
Arthur
No apologies needed Bernard, I had to double check myself, as you say, it's very difficult to keep track of the diecast ranges. .
