I have neglected this thread for a ridiculous amount of time.

Time for some updating after much illness, sadness and general torpor.

The above images show some BR fruit vans on the work bench; including one of the Frankenstein creations featuring LMS style suspension and LNER brake rigging. 

The underframe is pretty much scratch built frae a cornucopia of bits.

Some more recent activities from darkest Cheshire...

This is a Peco/Parkside RCH 5 plank mineral with bouncy Bill Bedford w-irons and other alterations. 

The spring-axlebox assemblies are the RCH ones frae Exactoscale - in a bit of madness I successfully attached them to the wheel bearings, mounted in the spring carriers. Working axleboxes in 4mm is getting a bit silly really...
