Time for some updating after much illness, sadness and general torpor. The above images show some BR fruit vans on the work bench; including one of the Frankenstein creations featuring LMS style suspension and LNER brake rigging. This is a Peco/Parkside RCH 5 plank mineral with bouncy Bill Bedford w-irons and other alterations. The spring-axlebox assemblies are the RCH ones frae Exactoscale - in a bit of madness I successfully attached them to the wheel bearings, mounted in the spring carriers.
