SDJR7F88
Well, Amiens is safely back at home after a wonderful 3 day at the show. Was great to meet a number of you guys Massive thanks to all the organisers and team for putting on such a wonderful show! Spent far to much on trade Managed to get away from the layout just enough to put a video together. Hope it's of interest! https://youtu.be/u_jGlZIql78
SDJR7F88
A short video of Amiens 1918 in action at the Bristol Model Railway Exhibition, at Thornbury Leisure Centre, 3rd - 5th May 2019. The show was the WW1 Trench Railway's biggest outings to date, and certainly one of the busiest too, with hundreds of people turning up, to see Amiens and the many other wonderful layouts on display at the show. Hope you enjoy! https://youtu.be/Zat48-OJ7oY
SDJR7F88
A short Slide Show, taking a look at some of my recent weathering projects. In this addition, we take a look at my second Minitrains Brigadelok 0-8-0T, which have been brush weathered using a mixture of Acrylic Washes. I've gone for an all over oily look, based on images of the real locomotive and tenders in service. Hope you enjoy!

SDJR7F88
Something a bit different I've been working on of late. Building a French Char 2C 'Super Heavy Tank' in 1/76 (00 / 009 Scale). These tanks were planned for War if it had continued into 1919, but we're later built in 1921. Each tank weighed 69 Tons and had a 12 man crew! The model really is quite the beast! Will make an interesting addition on Amiens from time to time. Next project is to build a special wagon for it to be transported by rail on the 00 layout
