SDJR7F88
With the recent house move to Devon, it's been a very busy past couple of months. However, with the house renovations nearing completion, I've finally managed to make a start on the most important room... The Railway Room! Despite being 8ft x 7ft I've got big plans for the room, with an integrated workbench for both my personal and Railway Modeller modelling projects , as well as plenty of shelving to maximise the space and storage. In this first update I give you a guided tour of the room, taking a look at the custom built workbench, baseboards and shelves, as well as discuses future plans for the room, including a little tease for a possible future layout... I hope to bring you lots more updates on the progress of the layout over the coming weeks. Let me know what you think... Hope you enjoy!

RMweb Premium Ian Morgan Posted November 2, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) I think you might regret fitting spotlights in your workroom as they provide very patchy lighting. OK in a kitchen or bathroom though. I think you would be better off using an LED ceiling panel like this: Example LED ceiling panel - not recommending this actual one as it was just from a quick Google search. It will provide a much more even coverage. Edited November 2, 2020 by Ian Morgan
RMweb Gold Corbs Posted November 2, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 2, 2020 We have 2 of the LED panels in the layout room, the light from them is insane, like daylight.

RMweb Gold Corbs Posted November 2, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 2, 2020 eBay I think, this is the same one - 2 of them. We had to get a surround for it to mount to the ceiling. and Chris wired it into the light fitting I believe. Think this is the same as the bracket/surround.
