Obviously you've worked on this because it's a Friday. ;)

Regards,

Ian.

Does that mean I should post the Chinese take away update on a Saturday evening :P

I'm working on that at the moment.

Thanks for the kind comments

Shaun.

The skyline of Drabford behind the station area I think needed something more, as the area to the right looks more busy and built up .

So I have decided to make a new low relief warehouse building to fill in the sky area.

Using the same type of embossed stone plasticard as the station building / goods shed.

A new attached warehouse is under construction.

Cutting out the plasticard and planning where windows are going and other details..

I’m going to have to make something similar.

My nightmare would be cutting out the windows - what do you use for the curvy bits please ?

I made a template to cut the window tops the same curve.

Then I'm putting the Wills Brick Arch Overlays on top.

Cheers Shaun

A little more progress with the low relief warehouse building.  The window frames are now completed, and doors added.  The left two windows have been bricked up to add a little more detail.

Next job is to make a canopy to go over the loading door.

Excellent modelling.

Really creates the scene.

Been a while since I did an update to Drabford,

here’s a few pictures of work in progress to the warehouse building .
Originally it was planned as a flat roofed building, but I wasn’t happy with it. So I decided to add the apex style roof sections to make it more interesting, and give more height to the background.

Very nice.  I’ve been missing my Drabford ‘fix’!

Are the window frames hand cut, home cutter, or bought?  (They’re very good however they’ve been done.)

Paul.

The cruelty of a close up!  If I got that close at an exhibition (remember them?) I’d be escorted off the premises!

They look great at viewing distance.

Paul.
