Charlie75
I've just read through this thread, and what a great little layout. Lots of great detail and some lovely rolling stock. It's amazing what you've achieved in a small space. Fantastic!

86902
Some pictures from the Gresley & Wychnor club show, sadly called off the second day due to the weather. Darren was kept busy, and once we warmed up the layout ran lovely. Thanks for the invite Peter & Andy. Cheers Bob

1722
Excellent layout. Does the lighting on the layout change colour to replicate different times of the day? Some of the pics have a reddish hue to the top of the back scene?
86902
Thanks Chris I used a led strip set with remote control from B&Q. The remote is used to set colour, brightness etc Hope that helps Cheers Bob

86902
Some of the cranes required for the layout are in slow build. These come from Make your Mark models and are superb, I’m slowly painting the pieces on the twin jib before lots of detailing can be added. Plan is for one of the twins, and 2 single jibs.

86902
More work carried out on the layout. Fitted a train tech welding module inside the shed ready for detailing in there, quite impressed with it as it’s controllable via the Dcc control aswell. Another van gets partial repaint and detailing, looks a lot better than out the box hopefully. More to come...... 86902
I’ve completed another vehicle to sit on the road bridge, this is the stobart rail ballast under cutter or “gopher” loaded onto the oxford low loader. As the machine is supplied it’s in a on the track work pose, I hacked it about to load on the trailer. Scale model scenery ratchet straps were used, aswell as 1.6mm chain. All weathered in a sealed with satin varnish. Cheers Bob Edited May 20, 2018 by 86902 5
