That'll be the 37 running round the coal wagons in preparation for shunting them into the main goods set then

You got an MGR set up there now!

I'm surprised they are happy with large logo on the line. When I was involved with the 24 the board were insistent it was green.

A green 37 with split boxes and skirts would suit the line

To be fair they are way more open minded now, i think the 37 is going to be repainted fairly soon into the same livery again.

I do like large logo, we have a lot in that livery at work,  most times I have one I wear my 80s uniform to match it. Only been challenged once about wearing it and I pointed out if that can wear 80s uniform then so can I!

As if what you wear affects how you drive!  Large logo 37s were a rare cop for me, but saw a lot of 56s in those colours so I like it as well, it's nice to see a bit more colour creeping in at the NYMR.

Yarm viaduct will never be the same without a large logo 56 and 36MGRs

To be fair being challenged over my dress code was more light hearted

I was on the network rail saloon last week and there is is a shirt and tie dress code on there but my mate reckons I'd come in fancy dress!

Are you watching too?  Lots of action this morning. But what is the engine that came along the mainline and is sitting at the junction waiting to come onto the NYMR?

Watching but working at packaging wagon buffers.

Dave.

Popping in from time to time to see what's about

They are doing well with the weather, over in Manchester it hasn't stopped raining going between pouring down and drizzle.

Nothing new there then. :jester:

With regards to the webcams I often have one open in the background whilst doing other things. Usually this one or the WSR. Sometimes the Festrail one.

Not seen the Ffestiniog one before, pity no sound but thanks for that one.

That's 5428, working the Whitby shuttles.

92134 has just made its first appearance in traffic since 1966, shunting the freight train before heading off up the bank L/E.

The Hall sounded magnificent pounding up the bank.
