Scalescenes CLASP building

Recommended Posts

Yes, I saw the adverts earlier and was interested.

CLASP (Consortium of Local Authorities Special Programme also known as a Collection of Loosely Assembled Steel Parts) was an interesting architectural style that found favour with BR. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CLASP_(British_Rail).There are still many examples around despite the asbestos issue. Forest Hill station is one that I believe was what Bachmann based their RTP (Ready to Plonk) resin cast CLASP model on.

It was later developed with SCOLA (Second Consortium Of Local Authorities).
