Any one else spot the typo below in their latest promo email -

 

"Hornby Magazine August issue is available now from WHSmith and all other leading newsagents for just £440. Alternatively, pick up your copy with FREE P&P*"

 

Not paying over Four Hundred pounds for it! (But may well buy a copy at £4.40) Worse than some of the Ebay madness prices.

Looks a good issue however. Natalie picked up a copy today so I'll have a nose later on and pick up a copy after payday.

I commend heartily the article by Tim Shackleton on detailing the Hornby Merchant Navy.   It bristles with tips and techniques which can be applied to other projects.

The Merchant Navy article is great. I didnt realise how much of a "one set of details will do for all" model Hornby had created. Gives plenty of scope for personalisation of individual models though. I'm tempted to have a go, for an inter-regional train.
