Rails have one less of these than they did when the e-mail was sent out.

How about an N gauge Kato 373 for 120 pounds? https://www.traintrax.co.uk/101295-kato-eurostar-class-005006-powered-classi-p-1205.html

Apologies for the delay in posting, but on my way up from Dorset to Scotland on Saturday (I do get around) I popped into Ian Allans.

Bachmann teak Thompsons at £37

Bachmann A1 at £110

Private owner wagons (triple pack) at £30

The tub of Humbrol paints at £1 each remains very full - bought one for a future project (I already have loads).

Those poor old Thomson Teaks have been around a while and unlike pretty well everything else IA put on sale haven't gone well!

I checked back and they have been there for around 2 months or more, everything else (apart from that solitary A1) have gone within a couple of weeks.

It's useful to keep reminding people as they have missed them when they were first posted.

Wickes, Dumfries branch, has 3mm thick MDF sheets (607mm x 1829mm) at £1.00.  Seems to be end of range, this online:

https://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-General-Purpose-MDF-Board---3mm-x-607mm-x-1829mm/p/164524

Also so a few other similar sizes of chipboard and “holey” MDF, but the above seemed the most  model railway orientated.

Obviously no idea if available elsewhere, but might be worth a look if you need this and/or passing by another branch.

Money goes to their charity, Alzheimer’s research:

Always worth a look at the charity section of wickes, in crewe on Sunday I picked up 5 packs of ceramic wall tiles for our downstairs loo, £1 a box, each one covering 1.2M sq, more than enough for the job, probably enough to do the back of the worktop in the utility room area of my garage conversion too

they also had end of line internal oak doors for £5 a piece and other various Nick nacks for a donation

I noticed today that B&Q offer the same.

Just spotted this on eBay, I know we don’t normally put single private eBay items on bargain hunters but you look to be getting a lot for your money for the £850 start bid, if I had the space i’d be tempted myself

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F283424636226

Going to watch this one that’s for sure, if you had the space I recon it could be adapted to fit in a large garage/shed and made into a continuous run set up

Shame the CEP isn't in B/G....!

Hi,

They rarely are at the moment - I've recently picked up 16 second hand 4 CEPs for parts and they are all green as they were the cheapest and the most plentiful.

Regards

Nick
