Trojmiasto
Still some bargains to be had for anyone in and around the West Midlands today at the A Oakes 70% off sale. For instance, there's a Heljan 009 L&B loco for £84 in the window, with a number of Bachmann wagons around £5 a pop including Pill Box's and LMS variants. There was a Maunsell Open 2nd there when I left for £11 which I thought was insane. There were a couple of steam locos left, as well as three class 71s for £50.99 each. Bargains are probably only going to be available for a fairly short time so no-one is going to be looking through 119 pages looking for bargains, more likely the last couple, but thats probably the same whether the topic is divided by year or grouped generally as at the moment so I'm not sure its worth changing

What's wrong with the current thread (other than the fact it goes off topic once in a while)? Having a new thread isn't going to stop the OT posts. Tried to place an order on this website for a Metcalfe kit and the code worked but they want £8.70 postage. A total rip for something that can be sent Royal Mail large letter for a couple of pounds. Not paying that. 1

Otherwise, I didn’t spot any ‘weekend wonders’ on any other stalls, apart from reductions on some books on Booklaw’s stand (but also at same price on their website)
