A couple from Collets

BR Grey 56, £95

https://www.collettsmodelshop.co.uk/product/Hornby-r3473-class-56-56108-in-railfreight-red-stripe-livery/

EWS Freight Train Pack, £115, I mentioned this a while back when it was "order on request" but it is in stock now.

https://www.collettsmodelshop.co.uk/product/Hornby-r3399-ews-freight-train-pack-with-class-67-in-ews-livery-and-three-mha-open-wagons/

Both have been around this price for a while but these are the cheapest I have seen them in stock.

Their Dapol Decoders seem cheap too...

Whilst it's only 20% off RRP I do think these look good value

https://www.collettsmodelshop.co.uk/product/Hornby-r3813-class-395-javelin-4-car-emu-395013-Hornby-visitor-centre-in-southeastern-livery/

£128 for a 4 car EMU that whilst not amazing doesn't look bad. And about £10 cheaper than I can find it anywhere else

https://www.collettsmodelshop.co.uk/product/Hornby-r4999-pack-of-two-centre-coaches-for-class-395-javelin-in-southeastern-livery/

Or when combined with this is £192 for a 6 car prototypical train.

"31-627B Bachmann Class 3F Steam Locomotive number 3520 in LMS Black livery with Deeley Tender ERA 3"

http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/51180/31-627B-Bachmann-Class-3F-Steam-Locomotive-number-3520-LMS

Seems a bargain at £64 unless I'm missing something?

Wrong livery for me.

Hornby R3707 Ruston & Hornsby 48DS in Queen Anne Distillery Livery for £59.99 at Kernow.

http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/61921/R3707-WSL-Hornby-Ruston-and-Hornsby-48DS-0-4-0-Diesel-Locomotive

Lowest price I have spotted this for so far. Paid more for mine a short while back, having honestly expected this livery to sell out quickly.

We are nothing if not an unpredictable bunch us modellers!

Thanks for that.

For some reason for both of them I had to click twice on the "READ NOW" button for it to show up in "my magazines".....so if it doesn't work first time...persevere.

A few more Dapol wagon specials updated. These were previously indicated as sold out. Not many left but what else can you get for £6.00 these days?

Not everyone's cup of "schwartztee" but this is on a 32% discount at Modelbahnunion - although it's still Euro 299,99 so stretches the definition of  "bargain" a bit.  I have wanted one for a while but in the US it's $450, which is pretty steep, although it has all sound functions, diesel smoke and converts from 2 rail DCC to Maerklin 3 rail if you can't make up your mind.

I'm afraid I succumbed to temptation (only the second time this week so far).

Hereford Models again! Bachmann LMS 12t Box Van £6.50. 5 in stock & cheap as chips!!!

http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=369_370_377_387_391&products_id=5663

I think they have been there for some time?

If you sort your preferred category by price then they are, generally, listed in ascending price, e.g. Bachmann steam era wagons:

http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=369_370_377_387_391&page=1&sort=3a
Which shows that these vans are the cheapest but there are other items listed which seem cheaper than they might be listed elsewhere.  I assume this is stock that has sat around unsold and they have never increased the price to reflect current selling prices?  Anyway, maybe makes it easier to see if there is something that you might want!

Not up to Accurascale standards, but ideal for someone just starting out or as a basis for a project.
By the way someone on ebay is selling a second hand one of these for £12.75.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-37-803A-12TON-PLANKED-VENTILATED-VAN-LMS-GREY-/173838736350
You could get 2 for the same price at Hereford Models, even though it was first advertised on their site on Wednesday 29 August, 2012. It's a bit dated!
