He's usually quite prolific on eBay and similar to Rails, this kind of stuff usually finds its way on there. It's probably been set up given that eBay haven't announced any £1 final value fee promo offers recently in wake of the ongoing situation so that the items are sold direct. Had some good stuff off Ellis in the past, but found more recently some of his prices to have become a bit more keen, but that's probably true of the whole industry.

Yes, I think it's like anything you have to do your research and be prepared to shop around. It seems most retailers seem to have a few items at a very good price and the rest isn't so attractive. It's a good way of retailers getting free advertising by getting onto this thread though. Hereford models must have done a good trade this week and a lot of the Ellis stuff has been snapped up quick.

Definitely. It seems most retailers have something that is a particularly good deal but then are more expensive than others on other items. I suppose everything is like that though. AshleyH 43
A very large box arrived here from Dapol / Lionheart just over an hour ago. Yes, Garry was right to tell me not to doubt, the 64XX and St Ives Branch B set coaches have arrived. To avoid thread drift, I will take the discussion on the items to the appropriate threads on the forum. All I can say about both the loco and the coaches is wow. It has to be one of the nicest, most well constructed locomotive that I own in any scale. Just a reminder that Lionheart are still offering the St Ives B set of coaches for £200 https://www.lionhearttrains.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=53 They are still an absolute bargain for that price with interior lighting, a working tail lamp, die-cast bogies. They are superbly finished. If you have any O gauge BR Western Region tank engine, these are not to be missed. The correct tank engine would really be the forthcoming 45XX from Dapol / Lionheart. I will be eagerly awaiting these to be delivered. Edited May 1, 2020 by AshleyH Added photos

Red Baron 81
Just got my nice blue 26 from the KGR link a few pages back ... Runs nicely - now to find a decent sound project - and of course re-seat the classic Heljan light tubes which promptly fell out on body removal Edited May 1, 2020 by Red Baron SP

These container wagons are cheap too I think, as they should come as pairs (no responsibility assumed if they don't ): http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=369_370_377_386_389&products_id=5673 http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=369_370_377_386_389&products_id=6922 Just over £30 a pair and I am pretty sure they are 60ft wagons so a good £/m ratio.
