Kernow Model Rail Centre have 32-030DS Bachmann Class 20 Diesel Locomotive number 20 156 in BR Red Stripe Railfreight livery with sound for £170. I believe it has Loksound V5 decoder. Considering a V5 decoder costs about £120, its seems like a good deal! Also Bachmann have a new class 20 out,so the older model is going to sell for less.

I guess that makes this loksound v5 a bargain then...

The Hereford Model Centre have added some more "new-old" stock at keen prices to their web site, including Mk 3's in the original privatisation Great Western livery (I think these are full length)

Edit: The Great Western Mk 3's seem to be all gone now.

The cheap Class 60s appear to have gone for now, but as with everything on Amazon, the more people that look or buy, the higher the price goes.

However, I’ve just ordered these two items, R3412 BR Early Crest S15 for £82.69 with free delivery, as cheap as I can find anywhere when you take postage into account, plus you can pay in 5 instalments if you wish, which makes it a pocket money purchase for a decent 4-6-0 locomotive.

https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01L4H31OO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also, for those Southern region modellers, a rather cheap Maunsell at £20.84 as I type, 2p less than I paid 5 minutes ago

https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B078YVB6L3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The links are for Amazon Smile, you can nominate a charity and Amazon make a small donation fir all eligible  purchases.

The S15 does appear to be from the batch that has dodgy motors, so it will be worth running the model while still under warranty , so you can get the motor replaced if necessary. Maybe Hornby have done this on latest ones?

Kernow have found a couple of Hornby Royal Scots (46165 The Ranger) in their stockroom, it was previously showing as out of stock.  https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/56201/R3558-Hornby-Royal-Scot-Class-Steam-Locomotive-46165

Several places have this model on offer, but this is the cheapest I have seen it: £89.99.
Good luck!

Another Kernow deal..

https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/66860/R1251M-WSL-Hornby-Celebrating-100-Years-of-Hornby-Train-Set

£189 for a super detailed princess, plus 2 superdetailed coaches and the retro box etc.

I have this set myself, I love everything about it.. spot on for the price.. full fat Princess and Coaches, detail packs, paint finish and a great box.

So looks like Hereford Model Centre have been in the basement again, this time mainly N Gauge

Graham Farish EWS/GBRF class 66's early version £59.95

Class 20 20132 £89.20

Not a real bargain but cheaper than new 47/4s, they have 3 versions of the Class 47/7 for £101

http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=832_834_852_951_958

For OO modellers, Hornby 50033 for £129 stood out
